Hello,

I have only recently started tracing my ancestors and am still a bit overwhelmed by the large number of Culpepper postings
available on the web.
I am trying to find the ancestors of my 3rd great-grandfather Evan Alexander Culpepper.
He was born in 1808 in NC and married to Tabitha (don't know her maiden name).
They had several children, the first of which was my 2nd-great-grandmother Sarah Melinda.
The family was in Greene Co. AL in 1850 and in Central TX after that.
Evan is supposedly descended from 3 Culpepper brothers who came from England to Virginia, and one of his ancestors fought in the Revolution (from what I've read, this could be Erasmus).
I seardched the archive for "Evan" and found nothing.
Does anyone have any info about Evan Alexander Culpepper?
