I don't have much at all on the Culp's in Rockingham Co., VA. It seems that several lines meet there just before 1800, and then the records get real sparse. I'm guessing that these Culp's are not related to the PA Culp's because nobody has been able to find a connection, and the PA clan is known well enough that it is unlikely the VA clan just "slipped through the cracks." Also, I've seen Shirley Halbeissen's letter from an older uncle that claims the Rockingham Culp's all immigrated from Holland to Richmond in 1665 and later moved to Rockingham, then to Fairfield Co., Ohio. That might be the best tip we have to go on. Perhaps Richmond is the place to look. I think my Henry Culp/Dorothy are related to the Henry/Frances Funk you mentioned, and to Jacob/Mary Radebaugh of Fairfield Co., Ohio.
and to the John Culp who appears in the census of Rockingham Co. I don't have any evidence. It's just a guess.

My line is online at Worldconnect. The GEDCOM name is "benoni".
