Thanks for replying. I am looking at all possibilites on the Culp's, I have some in Arkansas, that I have lost track of, I can trace them up to about, 1863 and 1870, then don't know if they were deceased or what happened to them. I also have an interesting story about a "David Wright" that was in the Izard Co. , Arkansas area, it was included in a manuscript written by a relative of mine, but it doesn't give any middle initial, or the name of a wife or children. So don't know if it could be your David or not. My husband's dad was named David Wright, supposedly after his grandfather, who was named David A. Wright, all we know about David A. Wright is that sometime before the civil war, he sold his farm in Missouri, and moved to the area of Jonesboro, ARkansas, my husband's father was, Edward Thomas Wright,b., 1891, in at Jonesboro, Ar., his mother was Julia Solomon, she was David A. Wright's second wife, and as far as we know my husband's grandfather was their only child, after the death of her husband David, she moved with Edward Thomas to Texas, unknown where exactly, possibly the Gainsville area, as that is where her son married, then he moved to Oklahoma. It has been very hard to locate any information on my husband's Wright's. Thanks for your information. I will keep it in mind. Sandra
