The best source of information is relitives, the older generation, they like to talk about their home life and their family before they were married and siblings. Try the Morman Geneology Library, they have many records of family lines. The cost is of copies is small and there is a lot of good information. I don't know where you are so I can't tell if there is a L.D.S. Church with a library near you. But this is a good starting point, they will help you to get started. The facts you need are Full name, birth date, death date, and place of birth or where they have lived for some time as you can check the U.S. Census for early years. You can also access the obituarays in the local paper, Funeral homes, and the cemetery records, headstones, sometimes they will have place of birth, But beware of who has given this information, sometimes it is not true. Thanks Suzanne
