I too am searching for info. I decend from Balser
Kolb born in Havover, Germany in 1754. He was
given a land grant in (New?)Summerset Ohio. He had
two brothers, one may have immigrate to NY. I have
a rubbing of the family crest from his tombstone.I
want to know why he came here, and the colors of
the crest.
