Howdy all! I'm looking for some information on my greatgrandfather's brothers and immediate family. I received an email from the Escondido, California historical society saying they had photographs of a number of Culps. Some I am familiar with, some not. So, I'm wondering if anyone here knows of these people: Dorothy Culp George Morris Culp Hazel Culp Martin Luther Culp Anna Rebecca "Reba" Culp Mrs. Rose McGookin Culp W.L. Culp Wilhelim Culp William Culp William Maurice Culp Winifred Culp Rueben Culp Martin Luther Culp is both my grandfather and great grandfather. My great grandfather was once police chief of Gettysburg. George Morris (went by Morris, I believe) was his brother. Reba was my great grandfather's daughter and grandfather's sister. Reuben was another of my great grandfather's brothers. All three brothers were son's of Jeremiah and Rebecca Culp of Gettysburg. All the Williams and maybe the Wilhelim and W.L. were likely the same person. William and Dorthy were part of the Escondido High School class of 1909. William might have been part of the 1908 class, though. It's also my understanding that the brothers Reuben and George Morris may have returned to Pennsylvania at some point after the turn of the century. All three brothers arrived in California about 1890 and built a home there which my great grandfather lived in until his death in 1934, as I recall. So, if anyone is related or can fill in some missing pages, I'd sure appreciate it. I'm wondering if any Culps from the George or Reuben connection are still around. Cheers all!
