Josiah C. CULP -Batesville, Arkansas-1859 Certificate No. 12628, No 139 and
Certificate No. 13085.

Arkansas Culps: 1840 Census records
Izard Co., AR is a Thomas Culp:
1850 Census records Izard Co., is a Levina Culp age 52 b. KY who could well be Thomas'
widow. Living with her is Josiah C. age 26 b. AR, Daniel 22 b. AR, James 19 b.
AR, Thomas B. 18 b. AR (listed in 1880 Mortality Schedule d. March 1880),
Ambrose 14 b. AR and Letty J. 4 b. AR;
In 1870 the only person I have in
Izard Co. Is Ambrose and his family. Living with Ambrose is an Abram (I think
- hard to read) Culp age 42. I don't know who he is but he is the right age
to be Ambrose's brother, Daniel, who is listed in the 1850 census.(Furnished to Reta Brown/Culy by VondaD)
