Joel Tufford and his wife Chloe Culp came from Beamsvill Ont to Kansas with her uncle I think his name was George Culp about 1884. They left Kan because Chloe was afraid of the Indians. The Culps went to Texas about 250 miles from Boise City Okla. Are you part of that group??? My husband is Tufford's gggrandson. His grandmother was Annie Tufford married to Charles Rutherford Powell in 1903 They lived at La Veta Colorado. I have some history on the Tuffords. sjam@hughes.net
