Born, May 18, 1812 at an unknown location. Died, August 14, 1879 in Scottsville, KS.
Married: Diana (Maiden name unknown). Born, Nov. 3, 1816, location unknown. Died, Feb. 8, 1890, Scottsville, KS. One known child Chesley Woodward Culp, born Greensburg,IN,April 27, 1843. Died Dec. 12,1925,Mitchell County, KS. Married Elizabeth Ardith Wagner, March 11, 1842 in Liberty, IL. Chesley served with Co.D-50th Illinois Volunteer infantry and participated in battles at Pittsburg Landing, Lookout Mountain, Corinth and Sherman's march to the sea.Children and last known addresses:

Minnie Culp - Scottsville, KS
Bert C. Culp - Beloit, KS
Archie Culp - Monte Vista, CO
Orville Wheeler Culp (my grandfather) KS
