Dear fellow KOLB /KULP /CULP researchers: Am seeking the "parentage" of Isaac Culp, born abt 1798, in the U.S. died in Stevensville, Ontario, Canada Abt. May 23, 1862. Isaac migrated from (somewhere) in the U.S. around the year 1820, and settled in Drummondville, Ontario (now a part of the city of Niagara Falls, Ontario). By trade, Isaac was a blacksmith and plow-maker. Isaac married twice - his first wife being Lavina Randall (1803-1836), by whom he had seven children (names unknown). His second wife was Margaret Ceclia Thorpe (1810-1889), by whom he had seven children: Thomas, Mary Eliza, Isaac Hendy, Sarah, Frances A., Jenet, and T. Samuel. Do you, personally, have any record of ISAAC HUMPHRIES CULP who migrated to Canada from the U.S., abt. 1820? Any thoughts or theories as to the identity would be very much appreciated. Kindest Best Regards,
