I am researching the same family. Have you learned any more since you posted this message a couple of years ago?

I believe that John Culp's father was Leonard Culp Jr. and that his father was Leonard Culp Sr., based on the census from Whitemarsh Twp., Montgomery Co. for 1810. Also Bean's History of Montgomery County, which is now online, gives the assessment list for Whitemarsh for 1780. It lists a Leonard Culp 50a., 2h., 2c., 1 still.

What is your source for the dates you post for Leonard Culp and the source for his wife's name?

I have also noticed that a Leonhart Kolb arrived in PA on the "Joyce" in Nov. of 1730. I am wondering if this individual is connected to these Leonard Culps.
