I am looking for information on my grandmother's line. The following is all the information I am able to get from my mother:
Cora Mae Culp (my grandmother) was born in Indian Territory (Oklahoma) November 9, 1903. She married Clifford Earl Nabors (sometimes called Judge, died November 30, 1980 in California), probably in Madill, Oklahoma 1919-1921. They had 2 children, Cleta (my mother, 1924) and Clyde (Sonny, 1926), both born in Whitesboro or Gordonville, Grayson Co., Texas. Cora died June 4, 1996 in California. Cora's siblings were Caddie, Maudie, Tennie and Paul. Her father was either Frank or Thomas Henry Culp. Her mother was Matilda Jane (commonly known as "Tee") Nichols of Madill, Oklahoma/Indian Territory. Tee was 1/2 Indian. After the death of Culp, Tee married John Henry Scribner. Tee's father was "Buck" Nichols, a full-blood Indian and he had a sister, Maggie Nichols, who married Alex McGee. Tee lived next to the schoolhouse and would often rent a room to a schoolteacher.
