Charity E. Cullum is the daughter of Thomas and Mary Polly McGough. A recent Cullum family publicaton may have the info you need. I will try to check this out, or refer you to someone who may have more info on her. Charity was apparently named for her father's, (Thomas) mother, Charity Hux? Cullum. Her youngest brother, George R. Cullum is the father of Emmett Hoyle Cullum, my father. Stephen Cullum, brother in law to George, and Polly Cullum, mother, is shown to be living with George's family in White County Arkansas 1880 US Census. A great number of the Cullum family did not survive to be very old in the rugged life and times they found in Arkansas. Nancy Jane married a Lowry, raised a large family. Naomah married Frank Guthrie, a widower with children, but had none of her own. There were some sons who had children, but we did not know much about Cullum heritage. I saw your post in Feb, but was somehow unable to get back on the Forum. Many of those folks are laid to rest in Beeler Cemetery Pleasant Plains, AR, sometimes called Beeler Cullum Cemetery. Restored somewhat, try the Website by that name. Have more about Charity and sisters. Keep in touch. Jo Cullum Woodiel
