Hi Marcella
I have just located this site and noted your query. I have researched Cullums and Culhams now for some time and your Ephraim name immediately rang a bell with me as one of my ancestors was Ezekiel Cullum. In 1851 Ephraim lives at No35 Cottage at Little Stonham then aged 29. His wife is Elizabeth (27) born Earl Stonham and 3 children, Susannah (4) Henry (2) Alice ( Ihave a note from Parish records that Alice bapt. 30.5.1858 so the 1851 child must have died. Also 27.1.1859 Elizabeth baptised and 5.1.1862 Frederick baptised. All the children of Ephraim and Elizabeth.In the 1881 census Ephraim is shown at Goodings Farm,Barking, Suffolk with a further son Arthur, born1854.I am fairly certain that 'my' Ezekiel was a brother to this Ephraim and there was also an Elijah and possibly other siblings. If this is your ancestor or not I will be pleased to hear from you.
