I am descended from Thomas Newton, b. 23 Oct. 1878, in Van Buren Co., AR. He was the son of James Jasper & Nancy Louisa [Treadaway] Cullum. He married Eliza Elizabeth Bennett, dau. of William Pitts & Mary Elizabeth [Sanders] Bennett on 27 Oct. 1898 in Van Buren Co. They lived in the Indian Territory, in 1906; then moved to Jefferson Co., Alabame, c. 1909; then in 1911, they returned to AR. In 1912, they moved to Hughes Co., OK. where they remained until 1928, when they moved to Merced Co., CA. Their daughter, Sedalia Elizabeth, b. 02/17/1901, Bee Branch, AR.; d. 05/18/1997, in Calif. was my grandmother. I have a lot of information on this line, if anyone is interested.Back to Francis Collom, b. c. 1743, Maryland, who is believed to be the son of William & Mary COLLOM. He married Susannah Northcraft.
