Depending upon what part of Cork, my grandmother was born Ballyallinan, Co. Limerick, and baptized in Rathkeale, Co. Limerick, just across the border from Cork. Her father was William Cullinan, probably born in the 1830s. They migrated to Youngstown, OH in 1880.
