My GGF was John Kiely born around 1859 in Gamonsfield which I believe is the old name for Kilsheelan. His parents were William Kiely and Mary Culinane (or Cullinan according to the IGI). He has three Sisters, Mary Margaret and JOhanna, and a brother Patrick. The IGI lists William's, and Patrick's (born 1867) and Johanna's (born 1864) (born listed as born in Kilsheenan) last name, as Keily. There is no IGI information on Mary, Margaret or John. William may have been born in Waterford around 1832?
Family History has is that John left Clonmel around 1878/79 for Australia. He landed in Brisbane and joined the Queensland Police Service in 1880, and resigned in 1904. Death records are sketchy, but indicate that he died in North Queensland somewhere around 1907-1912.
Any assistance on the Irish side would be much appreciated.
