Dear Richard,

Kelly is my niece and she posted the first message about Mary Cullinan. Mary Cullinan is my Great grandmother on my father's side.

Mary Cullinan was born in 1846 (not 1830 as mentioned before) in Ennis, Co Clare. Her parents were John Quinlan and Mary Lyons. We beleive the surname was changed from Quinlan to Cullinan at some stage.

In 1863 and at the age of 17 years Mary Cullinan with her older brother Michael (19 years), and younger sister Honora (Norah) (13 years), migrated to Australia on the ship "Commodore PERRY".

Other than this I don't know a lot about Mary and her ancestors so I am not sure if your ggg grandfather, John, is related to our Mary though it is quite possible.

Regards
Liana
