Hi..

My Great X 3 Grandfather was John Cullinan who was born in Ennis Co.Clare Ireland circa 1826...He was said to have emigrated to North America circa 1845...and he was married to Frances (Fanny) Moran..who was also said to be born in Ireland circa 1828...but the county is unknown at this time...I'm not sure if they married in Ireland..or on the ship crossing over the Atlantic..or even if they met once they were both in North America..and married there..

John and Frances ended up in St.John New Brunswick..where John was a tailor or clothier for many years..running the J.Cullinan & Sons Clothier Company. John and Frances may have lived in the USA off and on..as some of their children..including my Great X 2 Grandfather Michael Joseph Cullinan were born in the USA...

John and Frances both died in St.John NB..Canada..he on February 27, 1895 and she on December 9th 1901..they are both buried in St.John New Brunwick..

I don't know anything about either of thier families...who were John's parents..siblings..other relatives etc??

Was he the only one who came over to North America..or were there others???

Was CULLINAN your Great X 3 Grandmother's maiden name???

Perhaps they were related..as she was also from ENNIS..

Just some thoughts..

Let me know what you think!!

Regards

Richard Cullinan
