My Great Grandfather was Patrick Cullinan. He was born in Ireland abt. 1850 and he died on October 2, 1879 in North Adams, Massachusetts. On his death certificate it list his parents as Michael Cullinan and Katherine (maiden name not listed).
Patrick married Mary Hanley on June 15, 1876 in North Adams. She was the daughter of Peter Hanley and Susan Gill.
Patrick is listed as CALLAHAN on the marriage certificate
and when he died on October 2, 1879 his last name again was listed as CALLAHAN. Patrick and Mary had one son who is my Grandfather John Cullinan. John Cullinan was born June 7, 1879 in North Adams and was baptized in North Adams. The Baptisam Record has the name listed as Cullinan.
The 1880 Census for North Adams as Mary (a widow) and her son John living with Peter and Susan Hanley. The last name for Mary and John was listed as CALLAHAN in the census. In 1907 a deposition was filed in North Adams to correct errors or error on the original death certificate which in this case was the last name CALLAHAN to CULLINAN.
I'm looking to get beyond Patrick. I thank everyone in advance for any help provided.
