This Murtagh is said to be descended from a fellow named Corc, who lived in the 3'rd century. He was the father of Eochy (Eochaid) Mor (the Great), who was the father of Dubh, who was the father of Cuilin (meaning 'little couch' so I'm told). From Cuilin came the O'Cullens or O'Cullins of Leinster. From this group comes the Patrick Cullen, Bishop of Clogher, and the Murtagh Cullen, who was the father of the Nancy Cullen you were interested in. Unfortunately, this is as far as the line goes in my notes.
