Francis, I think my Cullen ancesters came from Roscommon. I noticed you had a John Cullen that could possibly be a connection to my family; the timeing would be about right and my Edward had 2 sons named John C. and James Joseph. Also, Edwards son James Joseph named his son John Joseph (my father); I do know the names of my great-grandfather Edward, possible middle name of Charles, his wife Anna Melvin; his brother, James and James' wife, Mary McGraff; his sister Mary, who married Martin Doyle of Fayetteville NY. I think they all came to NY from Ireland around the mid 1860's or 70's; Edward & Anna possibly had 2 young daughters; James & Mary possibly a son named Francis, called Frank; I think Edward & James were probably married in Ireland but, think Mary married Doyle n NY. I do not know names of the parents of Edward, James, & Mary Cullen. I just received copies of marriage records from Dublin of 3 Anna Melvin's, but none were married to my great-grandfather Edward Cullen. If any Cullen names I have mentiond appear in you records, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks,
Carol Cullen Terry
