Hi; Thank you so much. I got Mary Cullen's maiden name from her son Charles Fitzsimmons death certificate. I have a tree at Ancestry.com, user name toddfitz, it is public. I have pics of her grave in Redwood NY (St Xavier) there, Charles death certificate, tons of stuff. John, her husband, moved to Goose Bay, Alexandria, Jefferson, NY in 1833. I got that from a book, it is attached to John. He came to work the timber in the area. Their son John was born in 1834. Their daughter is Mary Ann, son James, Charles, and Christopher. I did see Bailey listed as her maiden name as did you. Charles death certificate convinced me it was Cullen. I have also found a John and james Cullen involved in the timber business in Ottawa. I found a marriage record for a John Fitzsimmons and Mary Turner in Ottawa 1834, but have since discovered it was not them. I have everything "downstream" from there pretty tight. There are two books of local history that I've found at the library in Alexandria bay, NY. One is by a ? Lilly Herrick King I believe and her mother, a Babcock. Sorry I'm not better at relaying all this. I am excited to maybe have discovered her roots. She was my 3 GGM. Regards, Todd Fitzsimmons Notify Administrator about this message?
