I have heard of a Murtagh Cullen born in 1747 in Co. Tyrone. He married a Bridget Devlin. Their children were: Patrick, John, James, Charles, Hugh, Michael, and Nancy. This family is related to Patrick Cullen, Bishop of Clogher. The family is said to be descended from the Leinster O'Cullens, who held lands in Kerry, Wicklow, Kildare, Tyrone, Limerick, and Tipperary.
