Hi Wllie Thank you for your time and info ,I followed up this name Richard Weir and Mary Cullen ,and spoke to a woman who`s gran whom was married to a Weir in Greenock connected to Richard Weir ,she remarked that she did not think we are connected ,My family mame is Ware my GG Grandfather Was Matthew Ware and his wife was Mary Callaghan in some records the spelling has been interpted as Callagher They where married Belfast 1863 . My Grandfather was James Ware born 18th May 1868 Portadown Lurgan and my Grand father was Matthew Ware born Greenock, around 1912 the Name changed to Weir.
If you come across any ifo I would be Grateful.
