Hello,
I have come across a family tree for Donald van Roden on line in the United States, not sure what forum but it has some errors. There is no contact information for this person so perhaps he will see this online.
The first two people mentioned in the tree are William Cullen SNR. married to Margaret Stratford. This is wrong. It should be John William Cooper married to Margaret Stratford. Their daughter Emma Frances Cooper is correct, however her husband should be listed as William Gibbon Cullen not William Cooper Cullen. William Cooper Cullen is their SON.
I am related through John William Cooper and Margaret Stratford's youngest daughter Jessie Cooper, a sister to Emma Frances Cooper.
This family can be traced throught the Stratford line back to 870 in England. This information is at the College of Arms in London.
