Deceased Name: Lawrence J. JARRELL
Lawrence J. Jarrell Age 88, of 115 Westminister Drive, Dover, DE, died on Monday, April 12, 1999 at the Bay Health Center KGH. He was born on December 10, 1910 to Alvin and Bertha (Minner) Jarrell. He married Eleanor L. Fleming. He is preceded in death by one brother and 8 sisters. He was a life time farmer in Kent County and employed at Latex for many years. He was a graduate of Felton High School and Goldey Beacom College. Mr. Jarrell was a member of the Magnolia United Methodist Church, and the Magnolia Fire Company, as well as the Lions Club of Delaware. Visitation will be held from 12-1 p.m. Thursday, April 15 at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, DE 19901. Burial will be at the Hollywood cemetery. He is survived by wife of 62 years, Eleanor Jarrell of Dover, DE; son, Ronald and wife (Elaine) Jarrell of Magnolia, DE; son, Raymond and wife (Linda) Jarrell of Magnolia, DE; son, Larry and wife (April) Jarrell of Magnolia, DE; daughter, Phyllis and husband (John) Counterman of Magnolia, DE; daughter, Alice and husband (Michael) Murray of Magnolia, DE; daughter, Eleanor and husband (Floyd) Marine of Sun City, AZ. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Magnolia United Methodist Church.
