Sorry to take so long to reply. The first Cullen Pope I've found appears in the late 1700's so there is probably no connection to your Cullens and Pope's, at least through that channel. However, there may be a connection through your Silas Pope; one of the Cullen Pope's I'm looking for was the son of a Silas Pope born in NC in the late 1700's.
