Hello,
I have been working on my family tree for some time, and I would like to locate any of my Cull family descendants to learn more details...hopefully see pictures.
Names were John, James Osborne, Edwin, Roger William, Abner, Judson Thomas, Severn, and more.
They came to America about 1811 from Swanage, Dorset, ENG and settled in WDC. Several of them were attorneys and lived in Baltimore and Laurel, MD. Judson T. was mayor of Laurel, MD many years ago.
Affiliated family names that I know of were White from Adamstown, Frederick Co, MD; Foster from PA; Peugnet; Sara [Mrs. Richard Caldwell Hume (Dr.)].
My gg grandfather was John Cull, s/o John Cull & Charlotte Barnes. John's siblings were James Osborne, Edwin, and Ann. My gr grandfather was s/o John, James Summers Cull. He was orphaned in 1847 and some how ended up in ARK where he raised nine children.
Hope there's someone out there who knows something about the descendants of these Culls. They were English and part French.
