Newfoundland Cull

There are only a few Cull's in Newfoundland which is somewhat surprising due to the fact that there are/were quite a few in Southern England. We have made several attemps to track our roots to the U.K. but the best we can find out is that one William Cull (Bounty Hunter) was dispatched to Newfoundland in the early 1800's to deal with the problems the settlers were having the the "Natives" or "Beothuk" Indians. Personally, I have found out that my GG Grandfather was Abel Cull (Sr) date and place of birth unknown but must have been mid 1800's.........If anyone has any info on Abel Cull or other Newfoundland Cull information I would appreciate it..... email me at...
