all these census records in ireland were destroyed by fire in 1922, however some extracts are available because some people requested official searches to prove entitlement to old age pension  between 1910 and 1922.
There are two extacts for the culkin family in county sligo. The first was an application by margaret harte, of cannaghnally, deomore west, co sligo. Her parents were thomas harte and celia culkin, and thomas culkin [uncle] is mentioned.
Residence in 1851 was parish of Kilmacshalgan, townland of dunneil [ in pencil dooneal mountain]. In pencil overleaf thomas harte age 45 married twice in 1832 and 1840, margaret aged 32 wife married 1840, children robert 18, john 16, margan 14, margaret 10, james 6, joseph 4, michael 2 and elizabeth 5 months.
The second refers to the marriage of Henry Cullen and Bridget Culkin in 1835, with children Patt 15, John 13, Michael 10, Bridget 7, Peter 3 and Mary 1 month, with Con and Eliza decd in 1851.
