Dear Jennie, I saw your message about Anna & Jacob Doan & I thought I might be able to help you. Anna was my gggmother. She was first married to Alexander Culbertson & 2m. to Jacob Doan, which Jacob Doan is the question. I have a friend from the Doan Assoc. working on that question as it is not the Jacob born in 1760. She also had a son Jacob born in 1822/23 d. 1863 buried in Doan Cemetery, Clinton Co., OH. Anna & Jacob were married 14 Jan 1820 in Orange Co., IN & moved to Clinton Co., OH before the 1820 census. Jacob is in the Tax Records until 1832 then disappears, but Anna remains until after the 1850 census. Does that help you?
