Sherry , I am Jacqueline Dyan " Cuevas" Bruneau, grand niece of Franklin Cuevas. My great uncle passed a few years ago at 99 yreas old and his wife passed not long after him at 100 yrs old. I have been told that Uncle Franklins book was not quite accurate in a few places, one being the father of Jaun de Cuevas. I was also told that the "de" on Juans name was only supposed to be used for women who married Cuevas's or were born to Cuevas's, I am not sure of that? My father was Elvin Joseph Cuevas, son of Francis Cuevas ( Franklins brother) and Roman was their father, mother was Kathrine ( Garriga) Cuevas. I have one of Uncle Franklins books and I am not sure how many are actually left since Katrina distroyed the libararies around here. If you ever get the chance to go to Wolf River Cenatary, you will find it is mostly Cuevas's and relatives of Cuevas's
