Hi Wil. I am apparently one of your cousins from Louisiana. I am Kathy Quave Bruhl. Your grandmother, Velma, was my dad's sister. My dad was Joseph Carmel Quave. Everyone called him "Cotton". I have been doing some genealogical research on the family and have much I can share with you. If you will supply an email address, I can attach a file in which I have recorded the genealogy back to Juan de Cuevas and even further. I remember a Carl Wilson and Charlie Wilson and I think Bobby Wilson as sons of Aunt Velma and Uncle Jerry. Are you the son of one of those sons? My father passed away December 31, 2003. Only two of his siblings remain alive - Aunt Lois Quave Taylor and Uncle Steve Quave. You have many cousins in Covington, La. I am one of six siblings, although my only sister died of cancer at the age of 17. I and my four brothers remain, with all of us living in the Covington area except one who lives near Houston.
