Hi, I just started doing this genealogy research. I started by finding out my family ties to the Byrd family.
Adm. Richard Byrd is known for his expedition to the North Pole in 1926.
Then I stumbled upon the connection to “Juan Jose de Cuevas”. I am interested in any books or history to Cuevas family. My family connection is from the Cat Island, MS side of the family.

George Washington Byrd who married Perlina (a Cuevas descendant) father was Robert Sidney Byrd; his father was William Sutton Byrd.
