Fernando,

Just came accross your post and am wondering if you found any information. I, too, am researching the name Cuellar from China, Nuevo León, during the same time frame.

The relative I am researching, which may be related to yours (after all, how many people lived in China at that time? - not many), is Maria Sidonia Cuellar Guerra. Her father was Reyes Cuellar and her mother was Maria Isabel Guerra. Maria Sidonia was born during the 1840's or 1850's. What was your gr-grandfather's name?

Regards,

José Carlos
