George GUTH and Catherina Gitz came to NYC in the 1850s from
Alsace-Lorraine. George was probably born in 1826 and Catherina
was a few years younger. They lived on Rivington St. in NYC,
and were part of "The First German Presbyterian Church of
Rivington Street". The names of their children were; Mary Louise,
(1859), George William (1862) and possibly Emily, (1867).Mary
married a Herman Ringer and lived in Califon, NJ. George W.
married Capitola Grinlinton (1867-1935). Any help is appreciated.
