I have a Vera Cude (February 1893), born Cooke County, Texas.
Her siblings in the 1900 census were Alford (20 July 1894) and Bertha E (August 1896). Note: I have Alfred rather than Alford as the correct name, according to his Draft Registration and several census records from Oklahoma.
Vera's parents were Clement W Cude and Ida (Unknown).
In 1900 they were living with Clem's parents, John & Malinda Hill Cude.
Several Cude/allied families moved to North Central Texas from West Central Arkansas in the latter half of the 1800's.
Among them was my great-grandmother, Sarah Ann Cude Hood, a sister of Clement W Cude.
