Timothy Cude is also my wife's Great-great-grandfather.He was born in 1808 (Hickman County, Tennessee) so would have been too old to be the same Timothy as mentioned in the Civil War. He had a son who, acording to the 1850 Franklin County, Arkansas census, was named Thomas A. Cude.Thomas was born about the right time (1833 or 34) but is probably not the right person either unless the census taker or Confederate Army got his name wrong. My best guess is that the Confederate Timothy is a nephew of our Timothy and Mary (Bird) Cude.By the way, my wife's line is through Timothy's daughter Tennessee A. Cude Hood.
