hi, my name is byron cubit and I'm from Queensland. im 18 and keen to learn about the cubits history. My dads name is gregory neil cubit and was born in launceston, Tasmania. My grandfather, neil cubit (don't know his middle name) and my grandmother moved to queensland a few years after my dad was born. i don't know much about the cubit history before that, for example why did my ancestors come 2 tassie. Anywho i just googled cubit family history and this site came up. I also read a rugby league book which said that a "Les Cubitt" was the captain of the australian rugby league team in the 1920's. I always wondered y there some have double t's and some have 1 in cubit. Anyone with any info about wat ive talked about, it would be greatly appreciated.
