Can anyone tell me the true grandparents of Benjamin Cubiit born 1639,possibly Gimingham,Norfolk where they a Ralph Cubitt and Joane Gryme who married about 1578,Joane was the daughter of William Gryme of Gimingham with the marriage is said to have came ownership of land at Gimingham,South Repps and Trunch, or where they John Cubitt born? and Elizabeth nee Lynn b?,as I have conflicting data.I have Benjamin b1639 as the son of Thomas Cubitt b? of Gimingham and his 4th wife Anne nee ?.Benjamin b 1639 is said along with his brother Robert to have purchased HONING MANOR in 1683.My 3x great grandparents where George Cubitt born 1809 Catfield,Nfk(son of John Cole Cubitt born 1782) and Jane Burman nee Larn born abt 1815,they married here in Great Yarmouth,Norfolk in 1837. All information greatly welcome,thanks Lorraine.
