I was born to the Cubitt Family in Ballymena County Antrim and am aware of a long standing Cubitt tree there. The family solicitor Lyle Cubitt of Ballymena has apparently traced a Cubitt (possibly the same info you have) who left Co Antrim and went to OZ / Tasmania. I understand there is a creek "Cubitt Creek" named after him. I'll try to contact Lyle to get more details.
