Antonio Maceo have brothers and sisters; His younger brother Jose died the same year Antonio died; his older brother had died in the Cuban War of Independence 1868-78; I think; He had another brother, Marcos who also joined the rebels forces; the women lived meanwhile in huts, hamlets, in the woods and took care of those sicks or wounded. antonio married Maria cabrales and lived after 1878 in Costa Rica, and Jamaica. I am not expert on Maceo and this info that I am posting have not been checked... I am sure that in Miami there are descendants of Maceo...
