Louis GAIGNARD - around 1800
Posted by: Judy Vinson Date: September 12, 2000 at 14:43:18

I am looking for information on Louis Gaignard, who was (probably) from Haiti, was in Cuba for a while, and who was in New Orleans, Louisiana by 1830 with his wife Anne Bonnifa. One source states that he was born in Cuba. I do not know who his parents were. If anyone has any specific information on him, or can point me to another place to look for information on the Haitian refugees in Cuba around 1800 I would really appreciate it.
