Just want to let you know that I had a ? when looking for LeMonier in Cuba. I thought perhaps there was a French connection with the Napoleonic wars. Just found out today that Cubans and French/Africans travelled extensively between Africa and Cuba and the United States during that period. My family oral history is making a lot more sense right now.
