The full name is Gil Gonzalez ROMERO not Garcia. Gil was executed by a Spanish firing squad. His brother my grandfather, also a member of the Ejercito Libertador, was Guillermo Gonzalez Romero. These ancestors were from the Yaguaramas and Cienfuegos areas of Las Villas. My grandmother's maiden name was Maria Josefa Garcia De Leon, thus my father's name Segundo Gonzalez GARCIA (De Leon). Any historical information or relations?
