William Augustus LeMonier was found in the 1850 census in New York City. He was sixty years old at the time and it said he came from Cuba. Can anyone tell me how to go about tracking his information down? I would like to find perhaps the boat that he came on. Who can I write to in Cuba? I am African American and would really like to find the connection.
