My grandfather was Sergio Luis González Figueredo from Las Martinas, Pinar del Río, and his mother was Inés Figueredo, from Isla de Pinos (called Isla de la Juventud since 1978), not Oriente like Perucho.

I don't know her birth date, but Perucho Figueredo lived from 1819-1870 and my grandfather was born in 1915, so if there's a relation she must've been a niece, daughter of his niece, or granddaughter, or something more remote. In the family they say we're related, but I've also heard that all the Figueredos from Cuba are related and everyone in one country being related to one national figure sounds a little far-fetched to me.

Anyways, I would like to see where I could trace this to, if anyone would like to swap info I’d me more than happy, thank you.
