I am looking for some information of the ancestors to the following??
Sergio Jesus Alonso Martin born 31 July 1941 in Majugua, CAV, Cuba was the son of Sergio Alonso "Montes de Oca"... this was the mother's second last name... it is not known what the last name of the biological father was??
From the many "black sheep" stories I have been reading on Canary Island and Cuba entries, maybe this was one of them??
Other names I am trying to match up with Sergio's mother's side of the family..
Emila Martin Blanco,with sisters Flora and Marina, and older brother Juan Martin Blanco, who was responsible for bringing them from Isla la Palma to Cuba about 1930 or a bit before...??
There was an uncle who came along with them.. Pedro Blanco, who also has descendants in Cuba.
One brother of mother Emilia.. Vicente Blanco stayed in Isla la Palma and I have found a professor in the university there with this name?? connection..I have been unable to find..
Emilia Martin Blanco was born on 8 de abril de 1917 in villa Brena Alta. birth certificate no. 172, tomo 27, pagina 184.
She died 26 December 1998 in Majugua, CAV and was buried in Majugua.
her father was Felix Martin Santos and mother Maria Blanco Perez.
Abuelos paternos Domingo Martin Bentacourt [un certain of correct spelling] and Juana SantoAlverezs Alverez.. Abuelos maternos Luis Blanco Rodrigus and Maria Perez... ..
I am stymed..any help in locating ancestor records in Canary Islands, or living relatives there would be greatly appreciated..I am also looking for ancestors to Aida Bueno Rodriguez, parents to Yamily.
Also looking for ancestors to her husband Junior Montero Jimenez.
His Father was Alcides.[grand mother is Caridad Maria, and his grandfather was Arturo Montero Castro]
..Junior Montero Jimenez's mother is Daysi Jimenez Martinez,
Her parents were Raul Jimenez Martinez and Blanca Rosa Ulloa Carmona.
These were the following children from this union:
Daysi, Xiomara, Elvia, Irma and Ester and the male members Jorge, Jesus, Osvaldo and one male Raul who died about 1989.
I do not know anything about when Junior's ancestors came to Cuba and from where??
Am I being too hopeful that I might find out anything
