I just noticed something else in rereading your post, the fact that Enrique had died in Kingston, Jamaica in 1872. It just so happens that his nephew, Juan Evangelista Romagosa Venecia had exiled from Cuba to Kingston, Jamaica, right around that time. The whole area of Bayamo-Manzanillo in Cuba had been in turmoil because of the 10 Years War of independence against Spain (1868-1872). It is possible that Enrique was also exiled there. Many lost their lives and others, including the Romagosas, had their properties confiscated.
